Gallery History

Liliana Bloch Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Dallas, Texas, representing a multicultural roster of national and international artists. Founded in 2013 by Liliana Bloch, the gallery is known for presenting museum-quality contemporary art that engages global issues, expands aesthetic and conceptual boundaries, and encourages critical thought.

Liliana Bloch Gallery supports artists whose practices reflect a wide range of cultural perspectives, materials, and ideas. The gallery works with both established and emerging artists, offering collectors access to contemporary painting, photography, sculpture, installation, video, and interdisciplinary work.

LBG’s artists have exhibited and collaborated with renowned institutions and international platforms, including Documenta in Kassel, Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, the Dom Museum in Vienna, Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Bangkok Biennale, and the Bienal de Arte Paiz in Guatemala. Their work is held in major museum collections around the world, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art and MoMA in New York, the National Art Gallery in Washington D.C, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Dallas Museum of Art, Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, and the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane.

In 2014, Liliana Bloch Gallery launched URBANO, a public art initiative dedicated to bringing contemporary art into public spaces. Through URBANO, the gallery presents experimental and interdisciplinary projects beyond the traditional gallery setting, making contemporary art more accessible while encouraging dialogue, education, and civic engagement.

At its core, Liliana Bloch Gallery believes in contemporary art as a catalyst for reflection, conversation, and cultural understanding. Through exhibitions, public art, artist talks, educational programming, and collector engagement, the gallery continues to contribute to the growth of contemporary art in Dallas and beyond.
